The following VPNs: Proxy.sh, Nordvpn, and Private Internet Access will work for MOST STUDENT's VPN needs. I highly recommend spending some money for an actual VPN service. It does route your request through their DNS servers. The Knowledge Base offers a pre-configured download package for Mac, Windows, and Linux, as well as iOS and Android. GlobalProtect VPN does not mask your IP address. If you have not already done so, download the GlobalProtect VPN client by visiting the Northwestern IT Knowledge Base and follow the appropriate installation instructions. VPN is required to access remote desktop and some campus resources while off campus.
